Old Agoura
Old Agoura is an upscale equestrian neighborhood located in Agoura Hills and it is tucked away in the foothills of the Cheesebro National Park. As you drive into the neighborhood you will get a rich feel of an equestrian community as the streets are lined with white fences and rural appearance. As you enter from the east side, right of the Cheesebro exit from the 101 freeway, you will encounter a local Old Agoura park with a baseball field, grass fields, a running track, playground, and bathrooms. There are numerous horse trails throughout this neighborhood leading into the canyon.
This wonderful community is surrounded by Santa Monica Mountains, Simi Hills, and Canyon. It is located only 10 minutes from Malibu Beaches and close to the 101 freeway, but it does, however, seem to be miles from busy streets and loud cities. This luxury community has a feel of a gated community, however, there are no Homeowner’s Association dues other than an annual contribution of $25 for the neighborhood BBQ and a few other events. Homes here are custom, and they cater to the equestrian lifestyle and to those who simply demand privacy and open spaces. This beautiful little neighborhood is known for its peace and quiet, and natural beauty abounds.
