The Local Peasant Restaurant
The Local Peasant in Woodland Hills, California is the brainchild of Mario Guddemi, Salvatore Aurora (founders of the Black Market Liquor Bar, Scopa Italian Roots, Old Lightning, The Chestnut Club, and DAMA), and Karl Makinen.
Local Peasant is your Woodland Hills neighborhood American gastropub with chef-driven comfort food. Our bartenders make handcrafted cocktails and source local beer, wine, and produce.
We have two locations in Sherman Oaks and Woodland Hills, both located on Ventura Boulevard, that offer a locally sourced menu that includes over 20+ tap beers, as well as a variety of bottled microbrews.
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where families and neighbors feel comfortable gathering for drinks and dinner.
