My husband and I have bought and sold quite a few homes over the past 45 years. In all of those years we have never had the pleasure of doing business with anyone as upstanding as David. We were looking to buy a home in a nice area in a specific price range for our daughter. David dedicated every moment he could searching and in a very short time found exactly what we wanted. We made an offer and went into escrow. This is what is so special about David…he set up the home inspection as well as a plumbing inspection which is something we had never encountered before. David thought we could negotiate the repair costs against the selling price, which we did. David was in touch with us on a daily basis throughout the escrow process and made himself available almost 24/7. He vigilantly looked out for our interests from the beginning to the end of the sale. I purchased a home for my son in West Hills, CA. I live in another state, and I was trying to do everything all alone online. By what I truly consider to be divine intervention alone, I came across David Salmanson’s phone number. Immediately, he answered his phone (it was a holiday!). By the next day, he took my son all over LA to show him places he might be interested in. By that following weekend, I flew into LA, and David spent his entire weekend showing us properties. I vacillated from a condo to a house. Throughout the entire process, David was patient, understanding, informative and VERY enthusiastic. I would contact him and literally minutes later I would hear back from him. NEVER did I feel as though he was losing patience with our uncertainties. His knowledge about the entire real estate aspect (which is completely foreign to me), was vast/extensive. That weekend, my son found the home of his dreams, and we were blessed enough to be chosen amongst multiple other bidders to buy that home. David kept me informed of the entire process while I was residing in another state. Not only did he help us find my son’s dream home, but he assisted us in the arduous process of securing the home–step by step. I never felt “alone” in the entire process, as I knew David would have or find the answer. Even AFTER the escrow completely closed, David put my son and I in touch with multiple useful resources (everything from assistance with the pool, to help with getting new windows, roofing, etc)–especially since this was my young son’s first home purchase and he was completely alone for the arduous task. I have yet to meet a harder, more impressive realtor, determined person than David Salmanson. In fact, I even tried enlisting him to help me purchase a home in my own state to discover that is not a viable option, to my dismay. Unequivocally, I will use David to assist my son with any future home selling or purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend him as your realtor to any friend, family, patient. My family and I met David unexpectedly. We toured a home in the San Fernando Valley area. Though it was not the area we had in mind, we decided to visit it anyway. Coincidently, David was there as well. He had an appointment with a client to show the same home. He greeted us and asked if we were working with a real estate agent. We informed him that we were still looking for one. Fast forward a month later, we have an awesome home in Thousand Oaks, an area we absolutely love.

I was so fortunate to have David involved with the sale of my home. He has an award-winning personality and helped to make the whole process stress-free and fun! His selling price analysis and knowledge of the neighborhood reflects a strong insight into the real estate market. There had been a terrible rainstorm right before our open house, and a large tree branch had fallen into the pool. David called his own pool person, and it was removed immediately. He also recommended a terrific cleaning crew and made specific suggestions that would help the house to sell. As it turned out, the house garnered a ton of interest, and sold within one week. David is an excellent realtor!!

My husband and I just purchased our first home and our agent David, walked us through the home buying process with ease. The first home I saw and placed an offer with was made from a quick decision, but David was not convinced it was the right one for me and he was right!

Luckily my offer was not accepted which was a sign 🙂

I found the second home on a Tuesday afternoon and called David to schedule to see it that same evening. We both felt much better about this home and I placed an offer the next day, and the offer was accepted that evening.

But the end of the following week, we were in escrow and at the end of the month we closed. So in about 30 days, we got the house! The home was supposed to sell as-is but with David’s help, we got credit from the seller to put towards repairs.

David also introduced us to our now preferred lender. Honestly, without the both David and his lender, I don’t think we would have gotten the house.

And his help does not stop there. He’s always available and will give you great referrals to all types of contractors and service providers.
